Who is this workshop for?
College and university students who use or want to use AI to support learning for courses, assignments, quizzes, and exams. No coding or technical background required.
What will I learn at Project Hamburg workshops?
Collect materials, convert them to AI-readable text, design effective prompts, generate quizzes and summaries, and build repeatable AI study workflows.
Which AI tools are used in the workshops?
Free or freemium tools such as NotebookLM, Groq Console, AI Studio, Google Docs and Sheets. Participants can bring any AI tool they already use.
Is this about using AI to cheat?
No. Project Hamburg teaches ethical, responsible use of AI to understand, organize, and practice academic material, not to copy answers.
What should I bring?
A laptop or desktop, one real course syllabus, notes or PDFs, screenshots or audio, a few YouTube links, and logins to at least one AI tool plus Google Docs or Sheets.
Will you cover file size and format limits?
Yes. We cover context limits, file size constraints, tricky formats, and how to split or convert content so models can handle it.
What is a 'prompt log'?
A simple document or spreadsheet where you track prompts, tool used, and what worked. It becomes your personal study playbook.
Who organizes Project Hamburg workshops?
Project Hamburg Research Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building AI-enabled study tools like MapleScholar+.
Will sessions be recorded and shared afterward?
Yes. Participants receive access to replay material and links after the event when recording is available.
